It is made using reclaimed wood salvaged from old buildings in places such as Gujarat, Maharashtra and Rajasthan Southern India
The wood used is generally between 50 and 150 years old and is assembled by skilled craftsmen who create this colourful and interesting furniture
It is hand finished using a unique blend of reclaimed timbers
A beautifully made steel outer frame gives a fantastic urban edge and offers great structural rigidity
This sideboard features a cabinet and six drawers providing useful storage
The cabinet has a fixed internal shelf
The shelves are H 29.5cm x W 71cm x D 36cm
The internal dimensions of the six drawers are H 16.5cm x W 14cm x D 30cm
This is a solidly constructed piece of furniture
In character solid iron handles complement this piece beautifully
The wood is finished with a resilient satin lacquer which is hardwearing yet emphasises the beautiful colour and character in the timber
